A small workshop in Montegranaro
Montegranaro is a town in Le Marche, Italy, that has built fine men's shoes for over a century. The same streets, the same tradition, the same calibre of craft behind the houses you already wear.
Maison Rossano is one of its workshops. No storefront on a famous avenue. No campaigns. Around thirty clients so far, and most of them have ordered more than once. Nearly all found us the way you just did: someone asked, someone answered.
Ours is not a name you have heard. The work is the signature.

What your hands will tell you
The leather
Top-grade full-grain Italian calf, sourced from small Italian tanneries chosen for their technical skill, not their volume. It does not crack or peel. It grows a patina and deepens with the years.
The construction
Each model is built the way it should be. Loafers: Blake-stitched on a leather sole, sewn, not glued, so the pair can be resoled and worn for years. Sneakers: a stitched cupsole. Driving shoes: a true Italian moccasin with a hand-assembled apron.
The finishing
Cut, lasted and finished by hand, one pair at a time. No assembly line. The edges are trimmed and burnished by a person, not a machine.
The fit
Built on a comfortable Italian last, made to your size. Adjustments are part of the process, not an upsell.

When a famous house sells a shoe, the price carries the boutique on the avenue, the campaign, the logo embossed where no one sees it. The shoe is often excellent. The price is often about everything except the shoe. When a workshop sells the work directly, the price carries the leather, the hands and the hours. That is the whole difference.

Your size is confirmed with you before a single piece is cut. If the fit is wrong on arrival, we adjust or remake it at no cost: the pair comes back to us, and we make it right. In the rare case a remade pair still does not fit, we refund you in full.
Each pair is made to order for one person, so we cannot take it back into stock. Within 14 days of delivery we offer an exchange or store credit toward another pair.
